Varicose veins are enlarged, twisted veins that often appear in the legs due to malfunctioning valves that cause blood to pool. While they can be hereditary, Klinik Europe provides tailored treatment options, including ultrasound assessments to evaluate venous reflux and personalized care plans.
Varicose veins can develop due to several factors, including aging, family history, pregnancy, excess weight, and long periods of standing. To help prevent them, consider adopting healthy lifestyle habits such as regular walking, maintaining a healthy weight, elevating your legs, and wearing compression stockings to improve circulation.
Look out for leg heaviness, aching, itching, swelling, skin changes, or ulcers. Even cosmetic concerns warrant diagnosis at Klinik Europe to rule out underlying issues.
Klinik Europe offers all, using minimally invasive, NICE-approved technologies first.
Yes. EVLA is minimally invasive, done under local anaesthetic, with high efficacy and quick recovery. Klinik Europe surgeons have delivered excellent outcomes using ultrasound-guided EVLA.
A chemical solution is injected to collapse varicose veins. It's ideal for smaller veins and often used alongside ablation or phlebectomy. Klinik Europe chooses the method that suits your vein profile.
Veins are removed via small incisions under local anaesthetic; patients typically walk out same day. Klinik Europe employs this for physically protruding veins after ablation.
Recurrence can happen (~10–15% in older techniques), but modern ablation and holistic care at Klinik Europe reduce this risk significantly
Most return to normal within 1–2 days (ablation, sclerotherapy), with full recovery in weeks. Klinik Europe provides a recovery plan and compression supply.
Klinik Europe’s safety-first protocols and post-op care minimise complications.
Local anaesthetic keeps you comfortable; post-op soreness or bruising is common and well-managed with pain relief and compression. Klinik Europe ensures smooth pain control.
Treatments use tiny punctures—no large incisions or stitches. Dressings or compression stockings are worn 7–14 days after. Klinik Europe supports you through each stage.
Short-haul flights are typically safe 48 hours after treatment. Long-haul travel is best avoided for 1–2 weeks—Klinik Europe provides personalised travel advice.
Driving is usually allowed after 48 hours. Return to work within a few days, depending on job nature. Klinik Europe advises workplace timing and fitness to drive.
Yes—once veins are closed or extracted, blood reroutes through healthy vessels. Deep veins maintain circulation. Klinik Europe confirms success via post-op duplex scan.
Turkey offers high-tech care and affordable prices. Klinik Europe provides UK-standard hospital facilities, English-speaking staff, seamless travel logistics, and expert vascular surgeons—making medical travel stress-free.
A typical package includes 3 nights—covering procedure, day 1 assessment, and follow-up. Klinik Europe ensures your return only once safety is confirmed.
Yes—through our Klinik Connect system, patients receive remote guidance, recovery monitoring, and coordination with UK GPs for long-term care.
Private vascular procedures abroad aren’t NHS-funded. Some UK insurers may cover, but Klinik Europe offers financing options and transparent pricing to keep quality accessible.
